The staff's exceptional service ensures that every guest feels valued and cared for. The luxurious spa offers many treatments and therapies, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The dining options at Saccharum are exceptional, with restaurants offering a variety of cuisines prepared using fresh and local ingredients. The outdoor pool area is a beautiful space with comfortable loungers and stunning views, perfect for relaxation. These standout features, among others, contribute to the overall allure and appeal of Saccharum, making it an unforgettable destination for those seeking relaxation, adventure, or both. We will be returning to this resort.

A perfect place to unwind. The service is optimum except the Fly lounge rooftop bar (see comment in the "Disn't like section). Mutlple swimming pools, bars and restaurants. The Premium service is a must and well worth the money: access to private sundeck, unlimited access to the spa, 10% discount on spa treatments, private lounge access with a la carte breakfast, in-room treats from bottle of wine, canapes, fruits platter, there's always something different every day, turn-down service, everything outlined in the Premium package is accurate and some more. I've read here some bad comments regarding the Alambique restraurant, let me contradict: the service is optimal, the food is tasty and well presented (the monkfish dish is a must try). The Trapiche bar/restaurant also offers great food for lunch after the morning at the swimming pool or the sundeck. Great spa service and facilities with everything you need with professional personal.

If you want a perfect experience in Madeira, the Saccharum hotel is by far the best choice you can make. Located approximately 35 km from Funchal, in Calheta, it offers an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean and services worthy of its 5 stars. The room is very large, modern, with an enormous and very comfortable bed, and the balcony offers a superb view of the ocean. The entire hotel staff was very nice and professional. We appreciated the fact that our room was arranged twice every day, our towels were changed, and Lucy, the person who took care of our room, left us a small sweet gift on the bed every night. The breakfast is worthy of a 5-star hotel, extremely varied and with very good quality products. If we return to Madeira, Saccharum will definitely be our first choice! I warmly recommend this hotel!

Great Hotel close to little beaches. Rich breakfast buffet and very comfortable room with balcony. There are different facilities that you can book in addition (SPA, Squash, Dinner) and some free facilities just a gaming room with table tennis, games, pool & table football. There is also a beautiful infinity pool on the top floor and several bars/restaurants. The hotel is very well located in the south and within 10 mins you reach a supermarket, padel courts, whale watch agency & pharmacy. The staff was always very kind and helpful.
